BioFrail-looking and painfully shy, Chrona does not exactly give off an aura of menace. There is an aura there though, one that suggests something slightly unstable is hiding behind that timid facade. There is Ragnarok of course, the weapon that lives in Chrona's bloodstream while he is not in use, but it's deeper than that. As well as Chrona's been adjusting to life at Shibusen, all is not perfect. A lifetime of abuse and maltreatment cannot be undone instantly.
One of Chrona's most notable features is their androgyny. Nobody really knows whether Chrona is male or female. Those who ask will be answered with a blank stare or an "I don't know. Nobody ever told me." In fact, this Chrona here is played as being completely genderless, an "it" rather than a "he/she" because the latter would imply there actually was a gender, but that it was unknown.
